About the Founder
Claybotik started itfantastic journey in 2016. It was launched by Deeksha.S. Gupta, who relocated to Jaipur from Mumbai after having worked internationally as she was looking to unleash her artistic passions, spend her creative time with world art enthusiasts and create meaningful artifacts. Back then Claybotik was just a hub for pottery workshops with international tourists. Today, we have come a long way in establishing a fully functional studio in Jaipur where we manufacture high quality handmade ceramic products which are food and microwave safe. In the past few years, we have mastered the art of handmade imperfection, creating masterpieces which are an expression of love and tradition.
Our Founder's Message
God has endowed me with the capability to visualize, which I have used to create my destiny in creating art forms. I studied fine arts at a premium college of Jaipur and post that I did multimedia at CDAC, Pune.
Having worked for 15 years in topmost companies of India at Mumbai as a User Experience Designer, I got multiple opportunities to work with top-notch companies across the world, which took me to different places in the USA and Canada.
Clay has always attracted me and once I got an opportunity to learn to throw on the wheel, I left my established corporate life and took pottery as my full-time profession. Clay is one medium that can be used to create any form. Creativity has no limit while working with clay. One can create endless possibilities with this medium. Its the expression of thoughts and feelings.
I have worked with different types of clays like terracotta, stoneware, etc. But mainly use stoneware clay for creating my pieces.
We conduct pottery workshops & classes in the studio. This allows me to meet different people and helps spread happiness.
